    Ans: Big Bang theory.
    Simon Singh's (A) book Big Bang inspired
    Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre to name the
    series.
    B and C are Nobel prize winning scientists
    Robert Hofstadter and Leon Cooper, D is
    actor/director Sheldon Leonard who have
    inspired the names Leonard Hofstadter and
    Sheldon Cooper.
